Clinical Services

The CASD provides clinical services for children, adolescents, and adults in areas such as speech/language, social skills, emotional-behavioral concerns, toileting, sleep, picky eating, and more. Clinical services are paid for by the TAP grant (free to our clients) and include three distinct clinics. To learn more about each clinic, check out the information below! If you are interested in any of these services, please contact the CASD at* or 618-453-7130.

The Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders does not discriminate in the delivery of services for any reason including race, color, national origin, age, veteran status, religion, disability, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identify or expression. All clients have a right to be treated with respect, consideration, and dignity. The CASD is accessible for individuals with disabilities, including those using wheelchairs.

Language and Learning Group

Graduate student clinicians from speech-language pathology and applied behavior analysis at SIU provide weekly therapy to children ages 2–5 years. These services currently are conducted in person at the CASD and include individual and group components. Families are encouraged to participate in therapy to learn valuable strategies and techniques to support early learning, social, play, and communication skills that they can then use at home.
